Abstract
After India achieved independence, significant growth in NGOs began to be observed. More and more nonprofit organizations began to employ business strategies to enhance their effectiveness and achieve their social goals. Social entrepreneurship became an increasingly attractive option for those seeking to make positive changes in society. The perspective of Millennials has become an increasingly significant aspect of society, drawing special interest. The outcomes are not only improving our understanding of the social system's perception but also identifying ways to engage Millennials in the social economy. In the realm of social work and development, the growth of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) played a pivotal role. These organizations emerged as crucial players in addressing social issues and contributing to the welfare of marginalized communities. Their growth signified a shift towards a more participatory approach to development, where civil society could contribute alongside the government. In recent years, the nonprofit sector has undergone a remarkable transformation, becoming an indispensable pillar in the fabric of contemporary society. This shift has seen nonprofit organizations emerge as powerful entities capable of influencing policy, driving social change, and bridging the gap between the needs of the public and the capabilities of the private sector. They play a critical role in advocating for social justice, environmental sustainability, and the well-being of marginalized communities, thereby having a profound impact across social, economic, and political realms.
