Waste is becoming a great danger to our planet.
Every country in the world is facing a great problem in disposing of waste that is generated from different ways such as daily lifestyle, industries, livelihoods, houses, restaurants, hotels and many other types of activities.” Every country, whether is developed/developing / underdeveloped are working on different ways of treating the waste. Still, the best way to prevent hills of waste is to treat waste at the source. The waste can comprise solid / liquid/gas, but is commonly classified as biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste. Biodegradable waste is very easy to treat and convert into usable substances, as compared with non-biodegradable waste. In India, many laws have been formed to treat waste, segregation type, classification. Indian government says that before disposing of the waste, the waste should be segregated in two main forms i.e. bio degradable waste (Green waste / Wet waste) and non-biodegradable waste (Dry Waste). The Green waste can be treated in two main ways, i.e. by Methane or Composting (Organic Manure). In this case study, we have studied the different types of composting techniques prevailing in the Indian market to get the best results depending on the waste generated per day by different sources.
